Kite is about young girl named Sawa. One day she comes home and finds her parents murdered. She is taken in by the detective working on her case, and he ends up taking advantage of her and kind of corrupting her. He trains her to kill and uses her to do his dirty work, although he tries to justify it by telling her they are bad people. She befriends another assassin named Oburi and they begin to realize that they need each other if they are to escape this sordid lifestyle. It's a pretty complex story, but I thought it was pretty interesting. I wish I could elaborate a little more on the story but I am worried that I will spoil some of the story, so you can watch it for yourself.
